Which cartoon character best represents you?
That's easy: Lisa Simpson. Definitely. Numerous people have told me that on several occasions.
Also, Percy from Sinfest, sometimes.
What's your favorite thing to shop for?
Books. Or maybe they aren't exactly favorites, but what tempts me
most while walking around shops. I really enjoy buying furniture
though, and it's quite sad that it's so rarely necessary. I also really
enjoy putting together IKEA furniture, and their general store concept,
no matter how aware I may be of their sneaky way of always making you
consider the purchase of napkins or candles you clearly do not need.
I'm also strangely fond of drugstores.
If you are going to dress up for Halloween, what will you be? Why?
Barbarella! I'm not going to dress up for Halloween, however, for it
isn't really celebrated in Germany, and when it is, it has this
unpleasant artificial, commerce-driven aftertaste. And the German
equivalent of Karneval in February or March isn't really my style,
either, because I detest the music that is invariably served with it
and because I have little desire to kiss random strangers.
Barbarella, however, as a film, is impressively weird and trashy and
disturbing, but I still think it would make a fun costume, what with
the ditzy, blond secret agent flair and the ridiculous clothing.
Also, I would find it highly amusing to answer sleazy comments with
things like "Why would you want to do that? You don't even know my
psycho-cardiogram!"
Well: new city, new home, new faces - excellent time to also start a new blog, right?
Right.
